Viron arkkitehtuuripalkintogaala 2026 pidettiin 14. 2. Tallinnan kaupunginteatterissa.
Vuosittainen arkkitehtuuri-, sisustusarkkitehtuuri- ja maisema-arkkitehtuuritapahtuma keräsi noin 400 osallistujaa.
Kirsti kutsuttiin joka toinen vuosi jaettavan Asuntoarkkitehtuuripalkinnon tuomaristoon. Hänellä oli myös kunnia julkistaa voittaja.
Vuoden 2025 Elamu -palkinto jaettiin Tarton keskustan liepeille toteutetulle vanhan autotallin asunnoksi muuttamiselle. Sen suunnittelivat ja rakennuttivat arkkitehditp Egon Metusala ja Liis Uustali (ABMA) itselleen. Tuomaristo piti muutostyötä ajankohtaisena ja oivaltavana esimerkkinä siitä, miten muuttaa pieni ja vaatimaton talousrakennus eli tyhjillään ollut autokorjaamo uuteen käyttöön eli persoonalliseksi asunnoksi. Vanhojen tiiliseinien päälle nostetun lapekaton alle on syntynyt korkeaa avointa asuintilaa.

The Estonian Architecture Awards Gala 2026 was held on 14 February at the Tallinn City Theatre.
The annual architecture, interior architecture and landscape architecture event gathered around 400 participants.
Kirsti Sivén was invited to the jury of the Housing Architecture Award. She also had the honour of announcing the winner.
The award for the best 2025 project went to the conversion and extension of an old modest garage into an apartment in the centre of Tartu. It was carried out by the architect couple Egon Metusala and Liis Uustali (ABMA) for themselves. As the jury tells, this conversion a fine and timely example of how smart spatial moves can turn a small utility building into a rich and diverse living environment. A new south-facing gable roof rises above the old brick walls, creating a tall, open interior. The result is a modest yet visionary home designed truly for living.
