After a few years of waiting, the Parkkila building will finally be built. It replaces the Sillanpirtti building, which was in poor condition and functionally outdated, with a new housing unit providing supported housing for the homeless. When applying for a building permit the project faced surprising opposition, but in the end, the issues have been dealt with and the permits are ready. It’s time to build the future and continue services in Siltamäki.
