The Sompasaari area near Kalasatama is being developed and the city of Helsinki is building a combination of HITAS, right-of-occupancy, and rental apartments in the Johanna block.

The city’s rental housing project in the Johanna block is the first residential building in Helsinki where the building’s life cycle’s level of energy efficiency has been set as one of the project’s goals.

The block will be completed in spring 2024.
