Juvanpuisto Childrens Centre, Espoo

The Juvanpuisto School and Children’s Centre is located between an old industrial area and a rapidly growing small-scale housing neighbourhood in northern Espoo.

 

This centre forms the cultural hub of the district. The school building is open until 10 pm as a recreational facility open for local people and associations. The kindergarten has maternity and dental clinics in addition to the normal daycare departments. The school is made up of small classroom units surrounding the core of the block: a canteen, a media library, and a gym.
