Concise biographies of women architects from over 135 countries have been compiled into an encyclopedia with over 1,000 entries terms and 600 images.                                                  .

It covers the activities of women working in architecture during the period when women came to study in large numbers and eventually broke through as visible architects and actors in architecture.

The Finnish section is written by architect Pirkko-Liisa Schulman. The articles discuss pioneers, Finnish female architects in academia, urban planning and public administration, as well as landscape architects and young emerging Finnish architects. Finally, there are profiles of 13 female architects – Kirsti last in alphabetical order.

The work was published digitally in July 2025, and is planned to be printed and published in two volumes in spring 2026.
